Dearest Citizen of the United States of America,

Your couer is in the wrong place if you decide to enter the realm of politics to defend (your) religion. There are two places for worship of a divine entity; your home and your place of religious gathering.

Places which should be forbidden to discuss religion (other than affirming every citizen being entitled to their own belief) include, but are not limited to:

-The White House

- Capitol Hill

- Supreme Court (besides the instances where the justices speak for my comrades and myself; defending the right to freedom of religion)

- Public Schools (apart from history class where the children learn that this great nation was inhabited by their immigrant ancestors due to their quest for religious freedom.)

Separation of church and state did not mean the physical buildings had to be a certain distance away from each other, and who added in God we Trust to our currency?!

Being a Christian man myself, I was very well known for pleasuring the ladies, and well, some might have considered abortion as the answer. It even looks like some of your religious political leaders now a day have some skeletons in their closets.

It is with the deepest of sorrows that I bid you goodbye after this summer.

I suppose that I could always open the flap of the first year and re-live your journey again, or I could continue your story in my imagination, but that is not my deepest concern.

I worry about closing off my childhood and not being able to get excited over a piece of the past that jumps onto my television screen as a preview and I remember the butterflies that I felt when I was a child. How 9-year-old me loved smelling the inside of the newly printed book my father brought home for me. How I would eat ice cream on my front porch and my dog magically turned into fluffy, and my brother into a house elf.

Then, I remember how brave you were to let go of your past and you allowed it to help you propel into the future. I haven’t quite figured it out yet, but when I get over the denial of growing up and leaving my cupboard, I will remember to open up the first year of Hogwarts and reminisce how I too permitted my past to make me into the strong person that I know I have hidden inside of me.

It’s just one of those nights where you can’t stand being in your own skin. Your inner voice is trapped in your head and it won’t shut up. My logic is in there to fend for its self against my emotions. Believe me when I tell you, my emotions don’t live in my heart.
